CAUTIONS:
• Make Sure you have a rooted phone. This will be pointless if you don’t.
• Back up your SDCARD. I am not responsible for lost data.
• Make sure all other apps are closed and saved on your computer. This process will require a reboot.
BEFORE YOU START
1. Install Paragon Partition Manager 9 on your computer.
2. Make sure your SDCARD is blank. This means no data on the SDCARD.
3. Your SDCARD MUST MUST have the SDCARD formatted in FAT32!! NOT FAT or anything else.
I AM READY TO BEGIN
1. Connect you SDCARD to your computer. This can be through the phone (Make sure you mount it) or through SDCARD adaptor (make sure its not locked).
Then open PARAGON PARTITION MANAGER 9 and click “Create Partition” like so:

2. Then it will take you to a screen with a lot of mumbo jumbo just click next like so:

3. Next you will select the drive you want to partition. In this case it will be your SDCARD drive. In my case it is drive “F”. Yours May be different. Then click next. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT DRIVE. IF YOU SELECT THE WRONG ONE IT MAY DO THING YOU WON’T LIKE.

4. This is the step you get to choose how much storage you want to use for your apps. Use the lever to choose the amount of storage you want. In this scenario I chose 301mb. (For some reason the numbers jump in no particular order.) It’s really up to you but keep in mind this takes away from your SDCARD card storage. This means less space for your music and pix. I would say 500mb is more than enough.

5. Next you will select the “Partition Type”. Make sure you click “Linux Ext 2” then click “Next”.

6. Then click “YES, APPLY…” then click “Next”.

7. Now you see the program making the physical changes to the SDCARD. It will ask you to reboot. Allow the app to reboot the computer. Pretty much at this point you don’t need to touch the computer. Paragon will do the rest.
8. When the computer restarts it will not take you back into windows it will take you in to the Paragon Partition Manager screen. DO NOT RESTART OR SHUTDOWN THE COMPUTER AT THIS POINT. The screen will explain to you what is happening. Allow it to do what it is doing.
9. Then the computer will automatically restart and take you back into windows and like magic you have your Ext2 partition. IT IS NOW READY TO HAVE APPS TRANSFERRED TO IT.
FYI: You will not be able to see what is in the EXT2 partition in Windows. It can only be read in Linux and by your phone. You will also notice when you go to MY COMPUTER your SDCARD will have less storage. This is because the missing storage is now the EXT2 partition which you cannot see on Windows.
